Online Booking

We appreciate the use of our online booking system. You will receive an Email notifying you that your appointment has been confirmed. In the unlikely event we need to reject, or make changes to your requested appointment, expect a phone call from us to clarify.

To secure a booking online you will be required to provide a 50% booking deposit. See "Cancellations".

Service Time

We are a team of professionals that value the importance of your time. Whilst we will endeavour to ensure your goals are achieved in as little time as possible, our priority will always be delivering the highest quality results for your hair. You could be with us for two hours, or it could be up to four or five. We can discuss this throughout the booking process or during your complimentary consultation.

Colour Corrections

We love the challenge of Colour Correction work. We offer a complimentary consultation to discuss your desires and we will give a realistic assessment and quote to achieve your dream hair!

Location + Parking

We are located in Sylvania Waters at Shop 5 / 284 Belgrave Esplanade, opposite Taren Point Bowling Club. Salon entrance is conveniently located directly attached to our all day parking lot within the complex.

Booking Confirmation

48 hours prior to your booking you will receive a confirmation message via our automated SMS system. In the rare event that you do not receive a confirmation message prior to your appointment, please contact the salon via 02 9522 6954.


Complex colour appointments and corrective work can be over 5 hours in length. You will be required to provide a 50% non-refundable booking deposit.

We are fully understanding of individual circumstances which can impact your ability to attend your scheduled appointments, however late cancellations (<24 Hours) and no-shows will result in a 50% service fee cover charge. Online booking cancellation and no shows will forfeit their pre-paid deposit in this case.

If you attend your appointment as scheduled, your deposit will be deducted from your final service fee.

If you are running late, please be aware that we may be unable to perform the scheduled service, and whilst we will endeavour to do so, our salon operates on a strict time basis to ensure we are ready and waiting for you as you arrive.


Consultations are an amazing opportunity for us to get to know you and your hair. In our complimentary consultation we can answer all of your questions and create an achievable plan moving forward to achieve your dream hair. It is important that we take this time to discuss realistic expectations and the steps and process required to achieve these goals. What To Wear

Whilst you are with us, we will cover you in our trade-mark MG cape throughout your entire experience to ensure your clothes will be protected. We always take extreme care to avoid spills or leaks, although we highly recommend you do not wear anything of high value or importance as in the unlikely event an accident does occur, Mark Gardner Hair cannot be responsible for any damage caused


We accept Cash and Cards including American Express.

We also offer ZipPay so you don’t have to wait to look great! We can set you up with ZipPay easily in the salon.


If for any reason you have any doubts about your hair colour or haircut, please contact us within one week of the service and we will be happy to work out a solution for you.

Haircuts + Blowdrys

We strongly recommend complex, layered, precise and texture based haircuts be finished with a blowdry. As professionals we need to assess whether or not your style needs extra definition and texture perfected on a dry base. This is a key part in our guarantee of manageability at home and full satisfaction the moment you leave our Salon. If you do not want a blow dry we are more than happy to partially dry your hair off, although we ask first time clients to invest in a blow dry to help us get to know you and your hair.
